There is a shortcut (Ctrl+ Shift + Y) to create a new link, if you're using our browser extension:
    - Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tagpackers-pack-it-button/nohjijligchgbabiimogbigfkjmhekdm
    - Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/tagpacker/

This is a great idea, thx!

Let’s say we have one channel with tags “Trump” and “D. Trump”.
Then this channel would filter links tagged either “Trump” or “D. Trump”, or tagged with both “Trump” and “D. Trump”, correct?

Our first idea was to allow multiple tags per channel.
However, now we think your approach is the better one (if we get it right).
To summarize: a channel would be like a keyword search within your network.
For instance, when someone from your network posts a link with title "Trump next president" and another one a link tagged "donald trump" both links would appear in your channel 'trump'. Correct?

There would be a chance to automatically extract the publication date from the source article/blog post.
    Some websites support http://ogp.me/
But this would not work in all cases.

However, one way to support the requested feature would be to make the creation date editable. Any thoughts on this?

If you want to add a tag that you see in a tagpack to the left, you can just drag this tag and drop it onto the link (you can also drop the link onto the tag). However, this is not possible when you want to remove a tag, so we will think about how we can improve this.

It is also possible to assign a tag to (or remove a tag from) several links at once. Just set the filter to match precisely the links you want to edit and use the actions in the dropdown menu at the bottom right of the filter.
