  1. Really make a compact view

    Even more compact view.

    The compact view option under the search field really only removes the image. If there are two lines of description the vertical height used by a link does not change.

    1. Remove the date and icons line, moving the edit button to the same line as the link name.
    2. Actually make the view more compact, reduce vertical separation between lines in a link, and between links.

    This will list more links in the same vertical space making it easier to scan many links.

  3. Batch upload using a spreadsheet

    Ability to upload a spreadsheet with bookmark details like Title/Description, Link, and optionally Tags. This would make batch uploading very easy.

  4. Tagpacks and Tags should remain static and not scroll with our links

    You gave us the option of dragging links onto tags or tagpacks to do quick edits via drag and drop but it only works for the top four links in normal link view (not compact view). So if I scroll down the list of links and find one I want to drag and drop I cannot do so because the tagpacks and tags scrolled off the page with the top four links.

    Drag and drop would be a great way to delete links too if you has like a little trashcan icon or something on screen like we do on…

  5. Tags picking for editing

    Having a list of tags, give the possibility to select a subset of them by clicking in the usual ways:
    - shift+click continuous selection of items
    - ctrl+click pick (select or deselect) the single items
    Then, edit/manage selected tags as a whole.

    We’ll support multi edit of tags, and links as well. Please upvote to get it earlier.

    Which edit action(s) are you trying to perform?
    Delete multiple tags, move multiple tags to a tag pack, merge multiple tags into a single tag…?

    Do you need it regularly? Or just once when importing your links?

    Or instead of having a broken link checker, would you rather be able to read/watch/see the referenced contents after the link has become invalid?

  7. recover accidentally deleted links

    I don't know how it happened but I lost about 200 links that I'd been halfway through the process of properly tagging/annotating/titling.

    Any way to get those back? I had imported them from an .html file but of course I don't have the file anymore...

    great suggestion, thanks! we’ll provide additional search capabilities in the future, including terms, phrases, excludes, combine local and global search results etc. we’ll let you know if any of these features is available. keep packing! :)

  10. Private messages

    I think it would be nice to have PMs to comment on links you have in common with another user or repacked links. E.g. I noticed that one repacked link is already discontinued and I would like to notify the user that repacked it about that

    I want to immediately browse for tags to inform myself about good articles/sites about a topic that comes to my mind (no matter on which part of the site I am).

    Free structuring of Tags and Tagpacks: Same tag in multiple packs; packs within packs; but not only hirarchical = tag/tagpack can be in different packs at the same time

    Tag all links in a tag pack with an additional link from another tag - and create a hierarchy of tagpacks and "sub-tagpacks".

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

    Currently, you can build a hierarchy by creating general and special tagpacks.
    For instance:
    Tagpack “My Interests”: Food, Art, Sports
    Tagpack “X”
    Tagpack “Y”
    Tagpack “Z”
    Tagpack “Food-Tags”: Pizza, Pie, Pasta
    Tagpack “Pasta-Tags”: Cannelloni, Lasagne, Penne

    If all links tagged “Pizza”, “Pie” or “Pasta” also have tag “Food” the tagpack “Food-Tags”
    moves up in the list of tagpacks if the link list is filtered “Food”.
    Or if all links tagged “Cannelloni”, “Lasagne” or “Penne” also have tag “Pasta” the tagpack “Pasta-Tags” moves up in the list of tagpacks if the link list is filtered “Pasta”.

    We’re currently working on a solution to explicitly define a tag/tagpack hierarchy.
    If you are interested you can apply for beta testing. We’d inform you when our prototype is ready. Please let me know…

  14. Search field in "network" mobile view not available

    In Browser I am able to search for certain users. In my phone the search field is not available.

  15. fix encoding in export

    I see wrong encodings like: Veröffentlichungen wie z.B. „Der Marsianer“
    in the exported .html. No encoding is in given that file.
    Small fix, everybody else gets it wrong too - but you're German. You know how to do things right!
