Now it is possible to sort your tagpacks, alphabetically, by frequency, or by an self-defined order. To sort your tagpacks, there is a little button above your tagpack list.

To define an indivdual order (i.e., to move your tagpacks up and down), all tagpacks must be visible. To make all tag packs visible, there is a button “Show all tagpacks” at the bottom of your tagpack list.

  3. excluding tags to refine search results

when links share some, but not all, tags, make it possible to exclude a specific tag. example: 20 links for 'agent', 8 links of that 20 are also tagged 'query letter' - make it possible to exclude the 8 'query letter' links and have the 12 'agent' links without 'query letter' returned in the search results.

Now it is possible to exclude tags.
There is an exclamation mark for each tag in the filter input above your link list.

Please send us feedback if everything works as expected. Cheers!

  4. Compact view

I prefer to see as many as possible links. I understand some of users don't like it. Solution could be if in settings will be possibility set up compact or normal view.

    My draft of compact view:
    - no big blue line with photo my name (I know my name and photo I don't need to see it)
    - also number of following and followers can be moved in top bar or I don't need to see it at all (may be on my profile page)
    - search can be located in fixed top bar, IMHO it is better, because…

    “Compact view” is available now.

Now, after logging in you’ll see your own links without the large blue header. The blue header is only visible on your public profile page.

To activate/toggle the compact view for links there is a button on the right side below the filter/search input field. To permanently activate the compact link view for your own links you have an option “Display my links” in your account settings (https://tagpacker.com/account/account).

Please send us fedback on how you like it.

With the latest version of our Chrome extension https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tagpackers-pack-it-button/nohjijligchgbabiimogbigfkjmhekdm you can save all open tabs now (an update for Firefox will be released soon).

Right-click the Tagpacker “Pack It” button. In the context menu there is an option “Save Tabs to Tagpacker”.

Your links may have two tags afterwards:

    - TP-Browser-Session: The link was created by using the option “Save Tabs to Tagpacker”
    - TP-Last-Browser-Session: The link/tab was open in your browser when you clicked the option “Save Tabs to Tagpacker” the last time

Please send us feedback, if anything is missing or can be improved.

    Cheers
    Your Tagpacker Team

The highlighted text is used as the link description now (thanks for your comment and the code sample!). You need to re-install the pack-it button to make it working.

We just released a simple solution to generate iFrame code. You’ll find a share button below the filter in a user profile. In your own profile the share button is in the little menu below the filter. Let me know if you need more configuration options (e.g., to hide the blue profile header or the grey footer)

  10. Donate Button

I really love Tagpacker, and I'd like to give something back. So please add a "Donate" button to your page.

  13. Tagpacker Export/Backup With Tags

I love tagpacker. Thank you first. Now, I see when tagpacker backups on dropbox or I export my bookmarks, I see the tags are not preserved or even added to the links. This would just be very bad way of getting my bookmarks exported, they will all be unorganized, and its almost impossible topossibly manually re-tag them. This is the basic fail safe function on which Tagpacker can be trusted as Bookmark Manager, otherwise if Tagpacker stops working, we have no organized bookmarks backup for later switch to other bookmark managers. Can you please help if I am wrong with…

Now, you additionally can order by “popular” which actually means “most clicked”.
To re-order your link list just click the label “666 links” below the search/filter input field.

  16. Block spam followers and report spam accounts

Some of my followers are obviously spam accounts. To keep Tagpacker's quality high, please empower users to flag spam accounts and block them from following legitimate users.

  18. Option to change shortcut to browser extension

By default the shortcut is ctrl + b, but sometimes this command generate conflicts with others services. Ex: set bold text in google docs.

In your Chrome browser enter chrome://extensions/shortcuts in your address bar. In the section "Tagpacker’s “Pack It” Button" you can set the Tagpacker shortcut as you like.

  19. Change shortcut and/or add option to configure it

The shortcut can no longer be updated at chrome://extensions/ in Chrome and the current default shortcut key on macOS is Cmd+Shift+Z which clashes with the default global OS shortcut for "redo".
