Preview website / link in-app (on TagPacker)
Having tried a variety of bookmark manager type sites, one of the coolest features I came across that is unfortunately missing from TagPacker (my current favourite) is the ability to preview a link directly on the page rather than open the link itself.
Raindrop.io has this feature in beta. You click a link, the right side 2/3 of the site opens a preview window of the link while the left 1/3 continues to display the list of bookmarks and filter options.
I think this is an awesome feature to allow for quick browsing and switching between links without hopping back…

This is an interesting idea. Could you please describe the scenario in which you need this feature?
In case you want to add several links in a row, and all should have the same tags, you can currently filter your collection by these tags and use the context menu at the lower right corner of the filter to “Add [a] link here”. A link entered this way will have all the filter tags set automatically. Is this helpful in your case?

Tags picking for editing
Having a list of tags, give the possibility to select a subset of them by clicking in the usual ways:
- shift+click continuous selection of items
- ctrl+click pick (select or deselect) the single items
Then, edit/manage selected tags as a whole.6 votesWe’ll support multi edit of tags, and links as well. Please upvote to get it earlier.
Which edit action(s) are you trying to perform?
Delete multiple tags, move multiple tags to a tag pack, merge multiple tags into a single tag…? -
Batch upload using a spreadsheet
Ability to upload a spreadsheet with bookmark details like Title/Description, Link, and optionally Tags. This would make batch uploading very easy.
Thanks!

Allow more tagpacks to display automatically before hiding them
Allow more tagpacks to display automatically before hiding them (or allow users to change the number automatically displayed on their profiles)
5 votesDear Rebecca,
we are currently experimenting how we can organize the tagpacks in a way that allows us to show more tagpacks without making the user interface look cluttered. We will keep you posted on this issue.
Cheers,

Include article/source page's date (not the date the link was added)
I'm adding lots of web articles and blog posts so a team I'm working with can organize their research. It's important to know the date the article itself was published; is there a way to include this in Tagpacker (display it and allow for sorting by the source page's date?)
5 votesDo you want to set/mantain the publication date manually?

Tagging complete tagpack
Tag all links in a tag pack with an additional link from another tag - and create a hierarchy of tagpacks and "sub-tagpacks".
5 votesThanks for sharing your thoughts!
Currently, you can build a hierarchy by creating general and special tagpacks.
For instance:
Tagpack “My Interests”: Food, Art, Sports
Tagpack “X”
Tagpack “Y”
Tagpack “Z”
Tagpack “Food-Tags”: Pizza, Pie, Pasta
Tagpack “Pasta-Tags”: Cannelloni, Lasagne, PenneIf all links tagged “Pizza”, “Pie” or “Pasta” also have tag “Food” the tagpack “Food-Tags”
moves up in the list of tagpacks if the link list is filtered “Food”.
Or if all links tagged “Cannelloni”, “Lasagne” or “Penne” also have tag “Pasta” the tagpack “Pasta-Tags” moves up in the list of tagpacks if the link list is filtered “Pasta”.We’re currently working on a solution to explicitly define a tag/tagpack hierarchy.
If you are interested you can apply for beta testing. We’d inform you when our prototype is ready. Please let me know… -
Saved searches
allow to save search queries, e.g. if I search for tags "android, tutorial,ui", let me save this query so next time I don't need to select all the tags again.
Something like Jira's filetrs, if you are familiar with that 9https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiracorecloud/saving-your-search-as-a-filter-765593721.html)5 votesHow about saving your filter as a link to Tagpacker?
In your Tagpacker collection, just add a new link with URL (replace )
https://tagpacker.com/user/?t=android,tutorial,ui
…and optionally tag it “saved search”.
Would that fit your needs?

Tagpack Links in Timeline
Clicking on a tagpack should filter the timeline accordingly, that is, the timeline should only contain links tagged with at least one of the tags of the clicked tagpack

Tag cloud
What about a tag cloud view to visualize and manage a large number of tags?
Rationale: with 100 tags and few more, populating the whole list of tags on the left is quite slow right now.
And once you select a tag you suddenly got back the reduced tag list. Thanks
4 votesWe’ll support batch editing of tags, and make it faster.

Saving group of tabs (grouped by ctrl-click)
Would be very convenient to save group of tabs in Chrome or Firefox. Saving all the tabs for that purpose is awkward most of the times.

repack a whole tagpack
If you have a whole tagpack (category) of links that you like from another user, now you have to repack them one by one. You should be able to repack the whole tagpack and maintaining tag and tagpack names. Something like a "clone tagpack" option.

Different choice of fonts
Currently, I find the choice of font quite jarring on the eyes. It's not that easy to read and doesn't look slick and modern.
It would be nice to have a choice of some different fonts in the settings somewhere such as 'Open Sans'.

make the bookmarklet strip certain query string parameters
If I follow a link from an email newsletter or (quite often) ProductHunt, I get all the tracking key/values in the URL I save. I am not interested in these, not to mention I can essentially save the bookmark twice if the URLs appear different. I suggest the minimum tags stripped are:
"ref", "utmsource", "utmcampaign", "utmmedium", "utmcontent", "utmhpref", "wpisrc", "xrs", "fbactionids", "fbactiontypes", "fbsource", "actionobject_map"

Support a "quick" pack bookmarklet
I would suggest a quick pack option off the bookmarklet, i.e. create a tagpacker entry to the current page with specific options and without having to click the save button.
This would give the possibility to collect bookmarks as a kind of incoming or unsorted category (preferably tagged with a tag like "quick" and as private entry) to be sorted later.4 votesWe’re already working on a “quickmarklet” :) Instead of adding a tag like “quick” we would provide an option to filter all untagged links (i.e., links without any tag), similar to the private/public filter in the left sidebar. What do you think?

Add skins support
Add a bunch of "skins" which basically a customized colors for the web app.
4 votesCurrently not planned, but if there are enough votes we could support “skins”.

Increase the importation size limit on bookmark files
I cannot use Tagpacker because of the data limit that you have imposed on file size (10kb) for importation. I currently use Xmarks and was exploring alternatives.
4 votesCurrently, the size of the import file is limited to 10 megabytes. Usually that is sufficient for thousands of bookmarks. Which size has your file? You could divide your file into several files. Or send it to us (e.g., via email) and we’ll find a way to do import the bookmarks for you.
