Increase the importation size limit on bookmark files
I cannot use Tagpacker because of the data limit that you have imposed on file size (10kb) for importation. I currently use Xmarks and was exploring alternatives.
4 votesCurrently, the size of the import file is limited to 10 megabytes. Usually that is sufficient for thousands of bookmarks. Which size has your file? You could divide your file into several files. Or send it to us (e.g., via email) and we’ll find a way to do import the bookmarks for you.

Tagpacks and Tags should remain static and not scroll with our links
You gave us the option of dragging links onto tags or tagpacks to do quick edits via drag and drop but it only works for the top four links in normal link view (not compact view). So if I scroll down the list of links and find one I want to drag and drop I cannot do so because the tagpacks and tags scrolled off the page with the top four links.
Drag and drop would be a great way to delete links too if you has like a little trashcan icon or something on screen like we do on our desktop; this too should be static and not scroll. This was we can scroll through all our links and drag and drop the ones we want to delete, even better if you add the selection box I mentioned in my other feedback request. I can scroll through select 10 or 20 at random, drag one which then drags all the others and then slide them into the trashcan for quick and easy deletion.

3 votesWe’ll support both delete links by D&D and a way to use D&D for all tagpacks.

Make it possible for multiple people to contribute to the a common set of tags.
It would be really useful to create a set of tags that cover an area and have multiple people have the ability to contribute to and see that set. One person could be the manager or not?
17 votesWe plan to support collaboration in Tagpacker.
Your suggestion is a great starting point.Currently, our basic idea is to have something like (collaboration) spaces where a group of users can contribute to (links and tags).
Would this fit your needs?

Tag cloud
What about a tag cloud view to visualize and manage a large number of tags?
Rationale: with 100 tags and few more, populating the whole list of tags on the left is quite slow right now.
And once you select a tag you suddenly got back the reduced tag list. Thanks
4 votesWe’ll support batch editing of tags, and make it faster.
Which edit action(s) are you trying to perform?
Delete multiple tags, move multiple tags to a tag pack, merge multiple tags into a single tag…? -
bulk edit for tags and tag management
A specific page for tag management would be appreciated, as it is it's pretty tedious work to edit a tag.
Bulk edit to rename/delete/add to/remove from tagpack would be neat too.
24 votesWe’ll support bulk operations for tags/tag packs. But it hasn’t the highest priority. If there are enough user votes we’ll change priority.

Tags picking for editing
Having a list of tags, give the possibility to select a subset of them by clicking in the usual ways:
- shift+click continuous selection of items
- ctrl+click pick (select or deselect) the single items
Then, edit/manage selected tags as a whole.6 votesWe’ll support multi edit of tags, and links as well. Please upvote to get it earlier.

Include article/source page's date (not the date the link was added)
I'm adding lots of web articles and blog posts so a team I'm working with can organize their research. It's important to know the date the article itself was published; is there a way to include this in Tagpacker (display it and allow for sorting by the source page's date?)
5 votesDo you want to set/mantain the publication date manually?

Read later
Add a "read later" functionality

Share by txt
Share links of tags by email by copy URL to txt
1 voteThx for your idea.
We’re not 100% if we get it right.
Do you want to send an email to Tagpacker that contains an URL in the message body in order to add this URL to your link collection? -
Choose tag list or cloud as default display
Ability to choose a default display for tags: alphabetical rather than count, and display all instead of truncating the list
1 voteWe also thought about this feature but decided to wait with the implementation until some users really need it.
Please upvote to get it earlier.

Broken Link Checker
A broken links checker would be very useful.
Thanks.
Note: Congrats for a very good application, I'll recommend it to my contacts.15 votesDo you need it regularly? Or just once when importing your links?
Or instead of having a broken link checker, would you rather be able to read/watch/see the referenced contents after the link has become invalid?

Suggested Links
Suggest links based on ones provided.
1 voteJust to get you right: based on the links of your own collection, you like to discover new links (of other users) by getting link suggestions?

recover accidentally deleted links
I don't know how it happened but I lost about 200 links that I'd been halfway through the process of properly tagging/annotating/titling.
Any way to get those back? I had imported them from an .html file but of course I don't have the file anymore...
12 votesWe’ll support “undo delete” in a next Tagpacker version.

Socialize more, by knowing who add this bookmark before I did
I was a delicious fan, many years ago.
The old delicious was very social and successful because it showed who added the bookmark before we did, and the first to discover it. And we could follow the persons who shared interest and discovered a lot of amazing stuff.
3 votesThis feature is already on our road map.
Any ideas/wishes how to support this in the user interface?
Should there be an additional button for each link to show these persons/users? -
Include an easier way to add links to embedded PDF files
To add PDF link you have to add a link to another normal web site first, then go in and edit the advanced settings to add the PDF URL. I understand that you can't get any metadata from the PDF, and the bookmarklet may not work, but it would be nice to add the URL without having to add another site first.
Possibly add logic that if the URL or MIME is a PDF just add the URL and have the user manually add the other fields?
1 voteIt should be possible to directly add a PDF link. Could you please send us the URL you are tying to bookmark. If there is a bug we’ll fix it asap.
Cheers

Add a way to know wether a page is already bookmarked
I have your Chrome extension, it's nice, but there are 2 really wanted missing features:
I don't know when I visit a webpage wether it's already in my bookmarks, I'm forced to bookmark it again to know.
Diigo and Delicious extension have a little mark that is shown when the page is already tagged.
The 2nd feature would be to go directly to my library bookmark though the extension button.
1 voteThanks, great suggestions.
1st feature: we’ll support this in a later Tagpacker version.
2nd feature: type ’tp ’ in your address bar. Then, you can directly search your links saved on Tagpacker. When you select the first entry in the search result list you can open your Tagpacker profile (filtered by the search term you have entered). Does this fit your needs?

Sort and search bookmarks by date
I need a way to sort my bookmarks by date.
To search them by date, for instance, I want to find a bookmark made before that or this month.
1 voteWe’ll support ascending/descending sorting (e.g., by date, title, url)
-
Highlighting or annoting pages
Since I've found your site, I almost abandoned Diigo, but the only reason I stil use them is their page highlight feature.
If you could add this feature, you will steal all their customers, since the way you show bookmarks is really better (they have their picture, and automatic description)
1 voteWe’ll evaluate how ‘highlighting/annotating’ could be supported.

most probably, we’ll support different options to display links in the future. a “card view” would be one of them.

A same tag on various tagpacks while
Seria muito bom se fosse possível add a mesma tag em diferentes tagpacks, pois as vezes uma tag tem várias categorias ao mesmo tempo.
It would be great if you could add the same tag in different tagpacks, because sometimes a tag has several categories at the same time.
3 votesThere are some open questions that need to be clarified before implementing it. For instance, what happens while filtering, tagging etc.
